Responsible for managing the day to day quality improvement activities and deliverables related to CommunityCares Quality Improvement Program.


  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma OR Masters degree in public health, health administration, business adminstration or other medical related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in managed care, health insurance and/or health care setting.
  • Previous quality improvement and/or utilization management experience.
  • Knowledge of health care quality improvement principles and accreditation standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Specialty certification in quality such as Certified Professional in Healthcare quality (CPHQ) preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively lead and supervise others.
  • Ability to reason logically and to use good judgment in interpreting guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work independently to meet deliverable timelines.
  • Ability to analyze root causes and the impact of relevant issues and factors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in the English language.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
