This position is responsible for maintaining accurate eligibility file transfers with the PBM, resolving eligibility issues related to file transfers, coordination of member and provider resolutions between the pharmacy help desk and the PBM, coordination of specialty pharmacy programs, miscellaneous HCPCS drug pricing for claims pricing and B vs D claim pricing determinations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, healthcare, mathematics, related field OR a combination of college and work related experience.
  • Minimum of three years work experience in a health care environment, preferably as a pharmacy technicain.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of pharmacy claims processing and pharmacy terminology.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy terminology.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
  • Proficient in the use Access and mainframe databases preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a positive professional work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to converse and write fluently in English.
